Elan Musk has been asked by the President of the United States to find where the missing money has gone. He has been asked to trim the amount of money spent by the government. He has been given the authority to do this. He was not elected; he was appointed.

The “talking heads” on the political Left keep asking for proof of what the DOGE group finds. Why are they asking for this? Do they think that Elon Musk and his group are going to tell a lie about finding waste and strange payments or misplaced money, money that is simply unaccounted for? We KNOW this money is lost. That part is documented. We did not know what happened to much of it. Now, we are learning more and more every single day.

The Left is whining about the age of the young men Musk has on his team. These people are young geniuses. They are not people trying to steal money or social security numbers. They are brilliant and adept at computer programming and how to find things hidden in these machines. We are so lucky that Elon Musk himself is smart enough to be able to provide us with these teams. Clearly, no one in government on the Right or the Left knows how to find this money.  Or if they found waste they refused to cut out the programs. People have talked about trying to reduce waste for years, but it never happens. NOW things are changing fast. This NON-government group has a vested interest in finding waste rather than in keeping the status quo.

It is interesting that nobody asked for proof when the medical people, such as Dr. Fauci, or the talking heads, like Rachel Maddow, said that you had to close down the country. Nobody asked for proof of the vaccine’s efficacy. Nobody asked for proof about whether standing six feet apart was effective in keeping the virus from infecting you. Nobody asked for proof about whether the masks work. Everybody just did what they were told.  I’m not one of those.

Is there truly anyone that thinks that there is no fraud happening? Does anybody think it’s a bad idea to check and see where these trillions of dollars have gone?

Seriously, I don’t believe the people in general, think it’s bad. I don’t believe it, yet “they” say it’s bad. The people who hate the president are saying it is dangerous.  I’m sure that many of them are saying this because it’s ruining their particular gravy train. Nobody wants to have their own operation suspected or shut down. But they REALLY don’t want this if they are “on the take.” It seems likely that the people who are shouting the loudest are the very ones who are guilty.
People will do anything to protect their status quo, and that’s what’s happening now.

I think it’s really important that people try to be honest and fair about why they’re doing things. And, of course, Trump Derangement Syndrome kicks in here. There are people who don’t care if he were rescuing Mother Teresa from a fire. They would say that he was doing something wrong.

 It is kind of low to say, “Where is the proof?” It’s so clear that at least most of it is true. Even if they made a mistake about which agency was stealing, it is all wasted money, no matter which agency stole it.

Some people are upset because it was said that USAID gave money to some ridiculous project when it was not really them.  Suppose it turned out to be some other part of the government that actually wasted that money. Does it make you less angry?  If they’re giving money to dead people, or giving Medicaid money to people who don’t exist, or who are illegal aliens? Don’t you want to find out about it?

I think that we need fact-checkers for the fact-checkers. We need to get it across to people that this is for their own betterment. It’s not hurting them. Some people are going to lose their jobs.  That is too bad. I’m sorry.

 Perhaps some method of helping these people find new jobs can be set up.  Many people will be put out of work at once. Maybe thousands and thousands. Let’s work on finding solutions for that instead of just complaining about the discovery of fraud and waste.

Not wanting the public to find out what the trouble is baffles me.  I don’t understand it. People will do anything to protect their own.

 If you are skimming money from some program or being paid for work you did not do, you are wrong.  You were wrong if you knew about it and said nothing for fear of losing your job. There are probably a lot of people in Congress who are very frightened. They may be exposed as criminals.

I don’t have a solution. But, I wish Elon Musk and his team of young geniuses well.
